Under Canvas returns to Eden Court in Inverness this summer for an outdoor summer festival spectacular! Featuring 39 days of live music, performances and DJ sets out on the lawn, by the banks of the River Ness. Eden Court is just a five-minute walk from our hotel. So this makes for some great entertainment during your stay with us.
What’s on at Under Canvas 2023?
Now in its fifth year, the festival will run from 5th July to 26th August 2022. From Wednesdays to Sundays each week. Kicking off with Finn Anderson and Amy Laurenson Trio on Wednesday 5th July.
Special events over the festival will include a Summer Silent Disco with live DJs on 22nd July and a Family Fun Day on 13th August. Then the festival ends on 26th August with the Final Hoolie, a celebration of music, street food and craft drinks.
Food and drink
Savoury and sweet street food will be available from outdoor shacks. You can order food from 4 pm to 9 pm on festival evenings by quoting your table number at the shack. There will also be a bar offering local beers, gins and whisky and soft drinks.
Sustainability
The Under Canvas Festival is committed to sustainability. Most of the food and drink served is produced locally, using recyclable and compostable packaging. Wherever possible, resources are reused from previous festivals, and energy consumption is carefully monitored and managed. Please note, there will not be any electric heaters this year, but blankets will be provided for cooler evenings.
