There’s a particular kind of evening that only comes together a handful of times a year — the kind where the wine, the food, the setting and the company all align. This November, Ness Walk is hosting one of them.
On Saturday 21st November, we’re welcoming two of Tuscany’s most celebrated wine estates: Biondi-Santi and Isole e Olena into Torrish for a guided tasting masterclass followed by a wine-paired dinner. As the light softens over the river and the candles are lit, this is Tuscany brought to the Highlands for one unforgettable night.

The Estates
Biondi-Santi is the estate that gave the world Brunello di Montalcino, bottling its first vintage all the way back in 1888. For over a century, it has crafted elegant, age-worthy Sangiovese defined by tradition and precision.
Isole e Olena is one of Chianti Classico’s most celebrated names, known for wines of real purity and character. Tradition and innovation sit side by side here, and its Sangiovese has become a reference point for modern Tuscan winemaking.
The Guided Tasting Masterclass
Before dinner, Lorenzo guides guests through five wines side by side, a rare chance to compare how each estate’s wines evolve over time:

Dinner in Torrish
As evening settles over the garden, take your seat in Torrish for a menu created by our kitchen team, matched course by course, with wines from both estates, and one very special addition:

Dinner opens with Rare Champagne and closes with Vin Santo, with every course in between built around the wine beside it. Our chefs work with the finest seasonal Highland produce. Scottish ingredients meet Tuscan classics at the table.
