Torrish & Our Bar

Our bar flows seamlessly into our stunning restaurant Torrish ; housed in the heart of the historic Ness Walk. With a colourful rainbow of malts from around the world, this truly is the perfect Scottish setting for sampling our national spirit. Take in the breath-taking views of our courtyard gardens as you sip on your favourite dram, letting the surroundings enhance your sensory experience.

Tour of Scotland

An opportunity to sample five different whiskies showcasing different whisky regions. Our Tour of Scotland takes you on a journey of smooth drams from Speyside, Highland, Campbeltown, Islay and the Lowlands – each with unique qualities. Each a showcase of Scotland.

Spirit of the North Coast 500

An opportunity to take on Scotland’s answer to Route 66 – a 500km coastal road weaving its way around the north coast. Discover four drams on the route starting in Inverness and finishing on the most northerly point of Scotland’s mainland. Hugging the east coast, each dram exhibits coastal flavours with varying sweetness and intrigue.

Tomatin – Our Local

Discover our local distillery – 15 miles south of the city. Nestled in the sheltered Monaliadth mountains, these Highland expressions offer smooth and unique rich Highland qualities and the 18 year old is a show-stopper. Also in this collection, enjoy a unique peated malt which deviates from Tomatin’s traditional expressions. 

Four Distilleries Pathway

A collection of Islay malts – for the whisky lover. Following the famous Islay ‘Three Distilleries Pathway’ which hugs the south coast connecting Laphraoig, Lagavulin and Ardbeg, this tasting explores the rich peaty expressions of the Isle of Islay. To complete the collection, we hop across to the other side of the Island to discover a smooth dram from Bowmore; classic yet contemporary.

Whisky Tasting Events

In addition to hosting self-guided whisky flight tastings, we also offer formal whisky tastings and whisky paired dining experiences in our Riverbank Room. With floor to ceiling windows looking towards the River, this is the perfect setting for your hosted event. Our whisky flight experience is available for up to 6 guests, each day from 12.30-8pm and can be booked online below. If this experience is available, the option of ‘Whisky Flight Experience’ will show. Please note which experience you would prefer if you have chosen in advance.
