Outdoor adventure activities

We work with In Your Element, who can deliver a wide range of outdoor team-building activities. This could include archery, axe-throwing, canoeing, mini Highland games and team challenge events. Depending on the size of the group and the nature of the activities, they can be held here on the Ness Walk lawns, in the nearby Ness Islands or on the banks of a Highland loch.

Flower arranging / wreath making

Hosted in the bright Riverbank Room with windows overlooking our courtyard garden, you will be taken on a creative journey as you assemble a stunning floral display or wreath. Led by Flowers by Lee, a local florist and flower arrangement expert.

Relaxed painting sessions

We can bring in Erika Vado Art to carry out a relaxed painting session. Erika is a contemporary artist based here in Inverness, who creates evocative abstract and semi-abstract seascapes and landscapes. She will guide you through the painting process, as you make your own unique and personal work of art.

Tartan scarf weaving

We can also offer a scarf-weaving session with local tartan expert Clare Campbell from Prickly Thistle. A uniquely Scottish experience that makes for a fantastic team-building activity. Under expert guidance, you’ll have the opportunity to weave your very own tartan scarf.
