Chef De Partie

Restaurant Manager

Torrish Restaurant, located within the award-winning 5-star Ness Walk Hotel, is recognised for delivering an exceptional fine dining experience, showcasing contemporary Scottish cuisine through both à la carte and tasting menus, complemented by expertly curated wine pairings and impeccable service.
We are seeking an inspirational and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a luxury gastronomic environment, possesses an unwavering attention to detail, and is dedicated to creating memorable experiences for every guest.
The Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for leading, inspiring and developing a highly skilled front-of-house team to deliver service excellence at every touchpoint. You will embody the standards of a world-class luxury dining destination, ensuring flawless execution, genuine hospitality, and an atmosphere that exceeds guest expectations.
Working closely with the Head Chef and senior hotel leadership team, you will champion service standards, drive team engagement, and contribute to the continued success and reputation of Torrish Restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a professional front-of-house team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Deliver consistently exceptional 5-star service standards throughout the guest journey.
Ensure every guest receives a warm, personalised and memorable dining experience.
Demonstrate and encourage extensive knowledge of all menus, ingredients, wine pairings and beverage offerings.
Anticipate guest needs, respond proactively, and create moments that delight and exceed expectations.
Work collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen brigade to ensure seamless service delivery.
Maintain the highest standards of presentation, cleanliness and operational excellence.
Administration – devising schedules in line with business levels.
Drive team performance through coaching, mentoring and regular training initiatives.
Candidate Profile
Proven management experience within a luxury 5-star hotel, Michelin-recognised restaurant, or fine dining establishment.
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, engage and develop high-performing teams.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
Excellent food, wine and beverage knowledge, with a commitment to continuous learning.
Impeccable personal presentation and professional standards.
Calm, composed and attentive under pressure, with exceptional organisational skills.
A natural host who takes pride in delivering intuitive and personalised service.

Rooms & Housekeeping

Joining our team in our rooms and housekeeping team is the ideal opportunity for those who have a keen eye for detail and love keeping a clean work environment. Each of our 47 rooms are beautifully appointed and finished with exceptional quality. You’ll leave each day with sparkling rooms and immense pride in your work. Our riverside location is the perfect backdrop and the pace at Ness Walk is calm and organised. Enjoy time to ensure everything is first class in your work area. And, join a team headed up by our experienced Head Housekeeper Rachel Donald.

Room Attendant

Starts from 21 years from £12.71 per hour , 21 hours – 3 days per week- live out only.

We are looking a Part-time Experienced Room Attendants to join our Ness Walk Team. Ideally you will have housekeeping experience within a quality establishment, have excellent eye for detail, exceptional high standards and a ‘can do attitude’. If not, don’t worry, as we will nurture and develop your skills.
Our rooms at Ness Walk are of an exceptional standard therefore it is imperative that we recruit the right candidates to join our Team.

Hours of work – 8.30/09.00am-3/3.30pm 2-3 days per week . May be more hours available depending on levels of business, includes weekends.
