Experience Loch Ness by boat

They say the best way to understand the sheer size and scale of Loch Ness is by boat – and we tend to agree. Standing in the middle of the loch and taking in the view is an experience not to be missed during your time in the Scottish Highlands.

For our Cruise into Summer offer, we’ve teamed up with tour operators Loch Ness by Jacobite to make sure you get to spend time on the loch.  On a two-hour Contemplation tour, you’ll follow in the footsteps of Queen Victoria and take a trip along Thomas Telford’s Caledonian Canal and onto the waters of Loch Ness.

Take in the sights, sounds and stories of the Great Glen, Bona Lighthouse and Urquhart Castle. You might even catch a watery glimpse of…well, you know who! This Jacobite cruise on Loch Ness will be a fantastic adventure for everyone.

A luxurious break in Inverness

Summer in Inverness is fantastic. The flowers are out, the birds are singing and the city is humming with all the tourists and residents enjoying the weather. There are some great things to do, depending on when you come, including exploring our local Scottish Castles, the east of Inverness Heritage Trail, Suidhe Viewpoint and Invermoriston Bridge.
